Hamilton Ontario's Real Estate June Year To Date 2016 Market Report Shows Average Sales Prices Continue Rising With A Continued Demand For Affordable Living. If You Are Looking To Buy Your Next House Or Condo Or Investment Property, Hamilton Is Still THE Place To Look!
(RAHB - Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington) said "June sales may have been lower than last year in June, but they were still outstanding...all property sales were 25% higher than the 10 year average and the 2nd highest on record”. There were 2062 property sales processed through RAHB in June 2015, and 1877 sales in June 2016. There were only 2213 properties listed in June 2016 which is a decrease of 12.9% compared to the same month last year.
Inventory is still extremely low with just a little over a month of inventory in the Residential market, so Hamilton continues to be experiencing a sellers’ market. A balanced market would have five to eight months of inventory.
